| Dream in Color Orchestra & Band Camps - Students spend forty-five minutes each day learning in small group sectionals. They are divided into groups according to their instruments and are assigned an instructor who is a specialist in that instrument. Through expert advice and daily personal attention, the students explore the possibilities of their instruments and deepen their understanding of music. Instrumental music students will have the opportunity to work in small chamber groups each afternoon as well as be provided with individual practice time. These small ensembles will work on chamber music suited to their ability level with one of our music counselors or faculty. Violin, viola & cello students must be able to play a major three octave scale, all students must be able to read music and have played at least one year. A music camp counselor will accompany each age group to classes and supervise lunch every day. Students should bring a bag lunch including a drink and students should bring a water bottle for use throughout their day. Little Explorers Music Camp – This musical camp experience is for children that don't know what they like. The Music & Arts store will loan various instruments, free of charge (by request) for students to have the opportunity to explore different instruments. Only offered the week of June 30-July 3 (4 day camp/holiday) Two half day sessions offered (9am – noon) & (1pm – 4pm) |

Dream in Color Musical Theatre Camp – Your child can be a part of DICF's very own High School Musical Production . Students will select a part, assist in writing the scripts, learn lines, songs and dance pieces for a show stopping performance. Student participants must be self-motivated and have the ability to stay on task. Spring break campers will have a one week mini session and are not expected to perform, and Summer campers will have a two week period to learn and rehearse for their performance on Saturday, August 16 th . With the assistance of the staff, students will design and make their own sets and will learn stage hand and technical assistance work. Through expert advice and daily personal attention, the students explore the possibilities of their potential in multiple genres of the performing arts and will gain a deeper understanding of the performing arts. A camp counselor will accompany campers in all camp sessions and supervise lunch every day. Students should bring a bag lunch including a drink and students should bring a water bottle for use throughout their day. Camp size is limited to 20 participants, so register TODAY. |

Dream in Color Dance Camp - Students will be introduced to and/or trained in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and Tap . Students will experience daily technique and choreography classes where they will prepare a short performance. A dance camp counselor will accompany each age group to classes and supervise lunch every day. Full day students should bring a bag lunch including a drink and all program students should bring a water bottle for use throughout their day. Dream in Color Cheer/Tumbling Camps - Students will be introduced to and/or trained in basic to advanced cheer technique including, motion placement, jumps, basic tumbling and stunting through progression. The staff will teach cheers, chants and cheer dance routines that will be great for the upcoming cheer season. This camp will inspire and prepare anyone interested in trying out for high school or recreational cheerleading squads. We accommodate all age and skill levels. Students are expected to be positive toward all campers and staff, participate in all activities, and give your best effort and HAVE FUN! A group routine will be performed for family and friends at the end of camp. The staff to student ratio is 12 to 1. Full day students should bring a bag lunch including a drink and all program students should bring a water bottle for use throughout their day.
